Overview: I specialise in iOS audio. I have a natural facility for mathematics / algorithms / out of the box problem-solving / code structure & architecture & aesthetics. Code must be as elegant as a mathematical proof. Zen. I am fluent with every framework in the audio stack. Reason for this is that my chosen direction / mission in life is to create radical games and techniques for teaching core musical skills using Apple's new touchscreen technology. It is music that drives me! Over the last couple of years I have created a pitch detection engine that isolates the fundamental frequency from an incoming signal in real-time ( at <1% CPU load ), made a multitrack recorder, generated synthetic musical tones, built a polyphonic musical instrument, developed a real-time pitch shifter, and much more. I have a substantial code base to work from. I'm not limited to audio though (that's just my favourite playground). I've written my own GLES2 engine, mastered Core Animation and work from my own customised iOS application templates. And I have done tons of work on other platforms. But I'm not going to go into that as I'm exclusively hoovering up iOS work at the moment (focus!). Apparently the average developer has to apply for 25 projects before their first success. I got two jobs on my first day, and from only one application. The other guys found me! Both should get wrapped up and listed on this site by the end of the week. So I'm excited to see what this site brings. I only apply for jobs if they seem interesting in some way. So if you have received an offer from me, it is probably because your job looks fun ;)
